Research Institute of Building Production (NDIBV)Research Institute of Building Production (hereafter referred to as “the NDIBV”) of the State Committee of Ukraine for Construction and Architecture was established in 1947. It is the main multi-profile research center of Ukraine, which focuses on complex science and technology problems of construction industry as follows:

• technology of civil industrial and engineering, building of underground structures and waterworks, production of assembly reinforced concrete parts and structures;
• organization of construction production, organization of management of construction and development of its material technological support;
• identification of technical condition and certification of industrial buildings and constructions in order to secure their safe and reliable operation; activity coordination and development of normative documents therefore;
• mechanization and automation of construction production; certification of mechanization facilities;
• energy-saving in construction;
• economy of construction production;
• prognostics of development of science and technology progress in construction;
